Bookings - How can I book a massage?

Relax & Refresh has a user-friendly website (relaxandrefresh.be), where you can find almost all the information you need and easily book your massage at a convenient time. We try to limit phone contact as much as possible, as our massage therapists are often busy. If your call is not answered, we kindly ask that you do not call again but leave a message via the website or send an email to relax-refresh@outlook.be. You will receive a response almost immediately.

Question 2

Cancellation - I will not be able to attend my massage appointment. What should I do?

When you book a massage, we reserve time, space, and staff for you. Please let us know in advance via email, text message, or phone if you are unable to attend your appointment. Even in the case of unforeseen circumstances, such as a delay due to traffic, we kindly ask that you inform us. In the event of multiple no-shows, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings.

Question 3

Change - Can I change my booking?

Of course! We kindly request that you do this in a timely manner, preferably at least 24 hours in advance, via email. If you have an account, you can also make the change yourself easily.

Question 4

Children - Do you also massage children?

Accepted Answer

Certainly, children aged 6 to 16 are more than welcome. They receive a 10% discount. However, we do ask that they are accompanied by an adult.

Question 5

Clothing - Is there a dress code?

Accepted Answer

We recommend wearing comfortable and loose-fitting clothing. During the massage, you may choose to keep your underwear on. Your intimate body parts will always be properly covered with towels. Additionally, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing valuable jewelry or other expensive items to the massage.

Erotic massages - Does Relax & Refresh also offer erotic massages?

Question 7

Gift - Gift voucher

Accepted Answer

This voucher can only be used for a massage. It cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change will be given for the voucher. The voucher is valid for one year, but you can still book a massage up until the expiration date. This allows you to effectively extend the validity of the voucher by up to maximum one month. If no booking is made by the expiration date, the voucher will expire and can no longer be used.

If you choose a massage that is more expensive than the value of the voucher, you can pay the difference. If you select a massage that is less expensive, the difference will be noted on the voucher, and you can use the remaining amount later. Starting January 2025, vouchers purchased online will be sent directly via email (and no longer by post). You can either print the voucher or simply show it on your smartphone.

Question 8

Medical - Am I allowed to have a massage?

The massages at Relax & Refresh are non-medical in nature. If you have any doubts, we kindly ask that you consult your doctor first. In some cases, the massage therapist may decide not to proceed with the massage.

Examples include:
Clients under the influence
Clients taking specific medications (e.g., blood thinners)
Clients who are ill (infections, skin conditions, etc.)
Clients with certain allergies

We kindly ask that you inform us in advance if necessary.

Question 9

Payment

Accepted Answer

Payment is made after the massage. This can be done in cash, via Bancontact, or with a gift voucher. In no case are you required to pay a deposit. The prices are clearly listed on this website and are non-negotiable.

Question 10

Punctuality - What if I'm running late?

Accepted Answer

Running late happens. However, please keep in mind that another client is usually scheduled after you, and we need to respect the time slot. The price will remain the same. We recommend arriving about five minutes early so you can start your massage calmly.

Question 11

Preference - Can I express my preference for a certain masseur or for a male or female masseur?

Accepted Answer

Our starting point is that all of our massage therapists are highly qualified, but we understand that you may have a preference for a specific person. You can indicate this preference when making your booking, and we will do our best to accommodate it. However, we cannot always guarantee it. Additionally, you will not receive a notification if the requested therapist is unavailable or already has another appointment at that time.

Question 12

Shower - Can I take a shower before or after a massage?

No, this is not possible due to time constraints. It goes without saying that personal hygiene is very important for both the client and the staff. Naturally, we expect our clients to present themselves neatly for the massage. We assure you that the massage oil used is of high quality, very nourishing for your skin, and does not leave any traces on clothing.
